Google’s plans to wire Kansas City, Kan., with ultra-fast Internet connections is not a jobs program, a company representative told town hall meeting Wednesday. “We are not hiring a whole lot of people,” said Matt Dunne, Google’s director of community affairs. “Like, we may hire two. Most of this can be done remotely.”
